Visa Requirements

Scanned Copies of the Passport first/last/observation pages with validity of minimum six months and minimum two blank pages for visa stamp.

Photo Specification: Scanned Two recent passport size photographs with Matt or semi Matt finish, 80% face coverage, white background and without border (Size: 35mm x 45mm).

Please note: Photograph should not be more than 3 months old, scanned/stapled and should not be used in any of the previous visas.

Hotel Booking : Confirmed Hotel booking to be done through TravelShoppi.

Medical: Overseas Medical Insurance Policy.

What document do i need?

The application process uses an online form. You do not require any hard copy documents, but you will need to provide a scanned copy of your passport in JPEG format. The copy should be sharp and with all details clearly legible. Maximum file size is 1MB. 

How long can I stay in Azervbaijan?

An e-Visa allows a maximum stay of 30 days. E-visas are not usually extendable so if you need a longer period you will need to apply for a longer-stay visa through our Longer-Stay visa service.

What is the validity of an e-Visa?

An e-Visa is valid for 90 days, which means that you must use it within 90 days of issuance (for a single stay of up to 30 days).

I am already in Azerbaijan. Can I Apply for an e-Visa as a way to stay here longer?

No. You can only apply from outside Azerbaijan so you must leave first and then apply from another country.

Does the visa allow multiple entries?

No. An e-Visa is always for a single entry but you can easily apply for another visa after you have left Azerbaijan.

If I am only transiting. Baku airport to reach a connecting flight. do I have to obtain a visa?

No. You would only need a visa if you had to leave the international transit area.

I had to cancel my trip to Azerbaijan, Can I get a refund for te visa since I won't be using it?

Sorry. Visas are non-refundable.

I have previously visited Armenia. Does this mean that i will be refused on e-Visa for Azerbaijan?

Not automatically. The relationship between Azerbaijan and Armenia remains tense but Azerbaijan welcomes visitors providing that they have not visited illegally occupied areas of Azerbaijan from Armenia – notably the self-declared entity of Nagorno Karabakh. If you have visited Nagorno Karabakh you will not be allowed to enter the country, as it means the break of the law of Azerbaijan Republican could be liable for prosecution if you come to Azerbaijan.

How much do I have to pay?

For standard visas we charge US$75, for urgent visas US$95, though the sum will be billed in AZN (Manats) at the rate of the day. The total fee is made up of the government imposed visa charge, plus our fees covering international operation, card costs and service.

Does the cost vary by nationality?

No. All nationals who are eligible for an e-Visa pay the same charge.

Will I get a visa sticker for my passport?

No. The visa will arrive electronically as a pdf file. You must print it out (in color, A4 or letter size) and bring it, along with your passport, when you arrive in Azerbaijan.  Please keep the paper with you until you leave the country as it will be checked again on departure. 

Once I arrive in Azerbaijan, do I need to register?

If you plan to stay less than ten days there is no need to register. If you plan to stay longer, you must register within the first ten days or risk a substantial fine. The registration process is free through and through the regional offices of the migration department, but it’s simplier to ask your hotel staff to do the registration for you. Most respectable hotels do not charge for the service. 

Can I track the progress of my e-Visa application?

2. Documentation 
• Prior to traveling, you must make sure that you’ve obtained all documents necessitated by the issuing authority to gain smooth entry to the destination you plan to visit. Most countries require that your passport carry at least six months validity from the date you plan to leave the country. 
• For the processing of your visa application, make sure that you send your passport and all other relevant details within the specified timescale. By sending us your vital documents, you approve to abide by all requirements and explicitly agree that shall hand over these documents to you only after the completion of visa procedures by the issuing authority. 
• Embassies mostly provide appointments on first come basis. Appointments may change if we do not receive all your relevant documents. 
• Upon the completion of all procedures, MiceWorld Pro/ exercises reasonable care and diligence in returning all your vital documents including appointment letter, flight voucher, hotel voucher and travel insurance. It is your responsibility to acknowledge its receipt via email. No further changes shall be accepted in the event we do not receive your email on the same day itself. This is extremely important, as failing to do so shall be deemed as the acceptance of visa in the correct manner. Apparently, shall accept no liability caused due to any delay from your side. 
• It is your responsibility to notify us in advance regarding any additional requirement or changes in your travel plan. We do not accept any liability in connection with your inability or failure to comply with any such requirement. 
3. Fee & Payment Mode 
In order to avail of our visa services, you shall pay a processing fee as specified by the issuing authority, apart from all related service charges. When it comes to payment mode, it can be done through a valid credit card, debit card or online bank transfer while ensuring that your payment will be processed and billed on immediate basis. Please be informed that this processing fee, along with visa application requisites, is subject to change without any prior notice. 
4. Processing Time 
The visa processing time varies from country to country. All visa application processing time (including urgent services) specified by are only estimates, construed in accordance with our several years of experience dealing with major consulates and embassies. The processing time usually begins the next day of receiving your visa application and excludes all or any public holidays. Immigration working days are from Sunday through Thursday. Besides India and their respective national holidays, an embassy or consulate may be closed without any prior notice. In fact, in no event, should be held responsible for the delayed approval of your visa. 
5. Approval and Rejection of Visas 
Once we submit your visa application, all evaluations associated with it are conducted by the respective consulate or embassy. 6. Policies on Cancellation & Refund 
• Following the opening of your visa file and submission of your visa application, all payment made to the consulate or embassy on your behalf is non-refundable, no matter your visa is approved or not. The processing fee is refundable only if you choose to cancel the service prior to forwarding your visa application to the issuing authority. In such cases, you may be entitled for a partial refund equivalent to not more than 50% of the fee, as the refund does not cover any administration, service or banking charges. 
• After the submission of your visa application, shall not be held responsible for any loss or refund in the event of any sudden change in visa policies by the Embassy or Consulate.
